Founded in 1989 by the managing partner, John Haselmann, Integrated Management Services began practicing process improvement and cost reduction for a quickly changing environment in legal, healthcare and corporate verticals.
With the advent of the telecommunications deregulation act in 1996 and the explosion of IT on the scene for enterprise organizations during the 1990s, much of what was traditional process improvement and cost reduction was beginning to blend with the integration of technology management and great significance of managing and mitigating risk.
The introduction of Greg Kaple in 2003 as Senior Partner responsible for technology management signaled a significant shift in the Firm's evolution, as it recognized the need for greater emphasis of technology management capabilities. In 2004, John and Greg reorganized the Firm's structure and set out on a renewed direction to provide innovation, expertise and service delivery to a rapidly changing services-oriented market place.
In line with the more recent realization of impending economic softening, it became necessary to better organize, structure and scale operations, and invest in improving our experts, project delivery and client satisfaction. These improvements have resulted in transitioning to a better alignment of our efforts to client needs created by the new economic reality.
