James Keszenheimer is a new addition to the IMS team in 2014. He is helping to expand operations in the Midwest region.
Dr. Keszenheimer began his career in high tech and has worked for major research labs before transitioning to technology startups and business strategy consulting. He has over 25 years of technology and business development experience and is a leading expert in photonics. He has worked at major labs including NASA, AVCO, MIT Lincoln Lab, and Draper Lab. Dr. Keszenheimer has been involved in start up companies since college and co-founded or assisted early stage-companies in Boston, Silicon Valley, Princeton, and Ohio, with over $150M invested. For the past 13 years he has focused on early-stage management consulting with interests in biomedical, communications, imaging, industrial, aerospace, as well as consumer products.
Previously, Dr. Keszenheimer served as director of business development for Sarnoff Corporation, electro-optics business unit, where he was responsible for joint ventures, product strategies, spinouts, and development contracts. He has delivered products to a broad range of markets by applying his combined business and technical acumen. Markets served include medical devices, manufacturing, industrial sensing, and both wired and wireless communications.
He now focuses his energy on assisting global companies by bringing together technology and strategic partners. His projects include executive roles, economic development, product development, business strategy, investment raises, and customer relationships.
